Aged in 50% new and 50% used French oak barriques for 16 months.

TASTING NOTES: Multi-layered nose showing sweet red and black berry fruits with some gamy/meaty aromas, rosemary and mocha. In the mouth it has quite a density of elegant ripe dark cherries, plums & blackberry with hints of truffles, cedar, leather and smoky flavours. Nice minerality and wonderful concentration with some silky-yet-firm structure of smooth but present tannins.
